Captain Adcock began his career in law enforcement in 1987 working as a deputy for the Warren County Sheriffs Department.
In 1989 he was promoted to Sergeant and worked for the Sheriffs Department until January of 1990.
In January of 1990 he was hired by for the McMinnville Police Department as a patrol officer.
In 1997 he was promoted to detective and in June of 2001, Lieutenant Detective. In November of 2006, through a restructuring of the department, he was promoted to the rank of Captain and assigned the duties of Commander of the Criminal Investigative Division. Captain Adcock has extensive training and experience as an EMT / Paramedic for Warren County and Dekalb County EMS.
