Operation Byrne Blitz
On March 6, 2008, the McMinnville Police Department and the Warren County Sheriff's Department joined forces for a drug operation that involved knocking on doors. The operation, named "Operation Byrne Drugs," is a nationwide drug operation with 35 states participating. Three arrests were made, and crack cocaine, marijuana, valium and hydrocodone prescription medications were seized. Also recovered was $776 in cash believed to be generated from drug sales.
