The McMinnville Police Department is committed to excellence by providing professional law enforcement services in keeping with modem law enforcement standards while being sensitive to the needs of our citizens. On June 3, 2010, the Board of Directors of the Tennessee Association of Chiefs of Police awarded state accreditation to the McMinnville Police Department. The Accreditation Program is designed to encourage cooperation, recognize professional standing, encourage professional services and ensure public safety throughout the State of Tennessee. This program is a valuable and cost effective way to enhance overall agency effectiveness and professionalism.
