| The McMinnville Police Department Special Services Division is a specialized unit of six officers. The division is commanded by Captain Michael Lane. Special Services includes a Parks Officer, Kenneth Seagraves, who target patrol at the Civic Center, the Parks and Greenway. The division also has a K-9 officer, Tim Jones, who aggressively tracks and prosecutes persons involved in illegal drug activity. The K-9 officer also provides assistance to the department’s uniform division. Also included in the Special Services Division are the Housing Authority Officers, Toby Lewis and Mike Starkey. These officers provide seven day a week directed patrol in the five properties of the Housing Authority. |
The Special Services Division sets the pace for the entire department’s Community Policing effort and they work to create an environment that allows the citizens to live a more safe and productive life.
